Good luck for your interview. Better go for a dev position. If you can do coding adn genuinely interested better to become a software dev. Else if you feel coding is not your strong point you can try QA.

trainees nowadays do not get paid that much in most SL companies.. anyway it varies depending on the company. So if it is a good company they will pay. When they ask what ur salary expectation is, avoid answering that question straightaway and somehow try to get atleast an idea of what they are going to pay by asking some question from him. Even if u mention a range they would consider the lower margin.
