Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience in IT executive role or similar.
• Highly advanced analytical abilities with an overall understanding of information systems and underlying concepts.
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer/network Engineering, or another related field.
• Possess experience in a supportive environment with exposure to business applications.
• Hands-on experience in the latest network, cloud technologies & SAP will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills in both Sinhala and English languages.
Duties
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Replace parts as required.
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
• Support the roll-out of new applications.
• Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
• Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
• Negotiate contracts with manufacturers for all software, hardware, and consulting services.
