Salesmen arrested for strip searching a woman

A store owner and three salesmen in Avissawella have been arrested by the police on sexual charges for carrying out a body check for explosives on a female customer. They had allegedly taken the woman into a small room and stripped her after the metal detector sounded the alarm. According to the complaint lodged with the police the woman was stripped in front of her two young children and without the presence of any female security personnel or saleswomen.
