Yeah i looked around a LOT for a long time before buying this. You can't find 24" monitors here anywhere for less. Even 22" monitors are around Rs.50,000. Getting it from abroad is cheaper, but there's no warranty and you don't know if the one you're getting will have dead pixels or not. Even then if you have to pay customs and shipping, it comes to about the same price.

I'm running it thru DVI at 1920x1200 native res. Currently on a Geforce 6600. And the picture is just awesome. Even in older games I'm seeing details that I didn't know even existed.
Gonna be getting a 4870X2 or GTX 295 pretty soon. Hoping for price cuts.

Dude, the 6600 is ANCIENT. I can't believe you have such an awesome monitor with such a crap VGA (no offence).

My opinion is to keep the monitor and sell something else, that's what I would do if I were you. I mean 24" is just too darn lovely to give up .

Infrastructure cost is way high for an i7.. god dammit, a 300$ ++ mobo , DDR3..

Yeah but its so worth it. Besides if he's going for an all out upgrade and he can afford a Phenom, I'm pretty sure he'll be able to afford a i7 rig. I mean you don't HAVE to get a i7 965 (though it is so sexy), the 920 is pretty cheap.
