The 133-gram, 8.6mm thick (slightly thicker than Galaxy S II) Samsung Galaxy S III would feature a 720p 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel rear and 1.9-megapixel front-facing cameras with burst shot, best photo, and buddy photo share features, 16/32GB of storage with microSD slot for expansion, aluminium made C Pen stylus, 2,100mAh battery, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered by 1GB of RAM and 1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor.
The burst photo mode can take 3.3 shots per second while best photo feature will select the best photo out of the group.
Additional features will include Direct Call, S Voice, S Beam, AllShare Play, S Pebble, S Health and support for Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC.
Availability:
The new smartphone will be available in 145 countries starting from Europe followed by Asia, Africa, and Latin America on 296 mobile operators. The 3G HSPA+ version will launch later this month while 4G version will arrive later this year.
There is no news yet on Samsung Galaxy S III’s pricing.
