Sangakkara Accpet the invitation to join MCC World Cricket Committee
Former Sri Lanka cricket captain Kumar Sangakkara has accepted the invitation to join the MCC World Cricket Committee (WCC).So he becomes the second member of the MCC World Cricket committee to hail from Sri Lanka.
Sangakkara will join the MCC World Cricket committee during its upcoming meeting in Cape Town on January 8, after the conclusion of Sri Lanka’s third Test against South Africa. He will become the second Sri Lankan to join the WCC.
“When Mike Brearley invited me to join this Committee, kumar sangakkara explained exactly what the role of the MCC World Cricket committee is, and how they would like me to be involved, it was an instant ‘yes’ from my part,"
