The Sri Lanka Navy proudly announces that Rear Admiral Princely Liyanage (Retd) has etched his name in the annals of global endurance by qualifying for three Guinness World Records on a manual treadmill.

My question is what's meant by "qualifies" does he have to do it again for the Guinness people? Isn't it already a record if it's the first time ever? Or does it mean that they had not informed the Guinness committee before doing it?
