I think this is good topic for guy I like ask people any body know, Sri Lankan Rupavahini, ITN, Swarnavahina we can get from Saterlite. I heard Dialog providing these channel but this is saterlite ,

Hi guys i am starting this thread to talk about Satellite TV related information.
You can talk almost anything about Satellite TV, compare them technical info, guides etc..
If this goes well i am going to start a new section for Satellite/Cable TV in the forum.

I'VE GOT SATELLITE TV, N ITZ KOOL!!THR R TOO MANY CHANNELZ..THR R 2 SINHALA CHANNELZ...
"NET TV" N "SRI TV"...MADE IN ITALY..
NYWAY...DAZ FREE, WE ONLY BOUGHT DA PARABOLA N ALL DA STUFF WITH DAT..!

Ya there is some law like that. But normally you can receive signals from a Sat TV dish. They will not make problems.
But you can't transmit signals to satellites.

Ya some channels are encrypted some are free.
Channels like HBO encrypted.
