Actually me and one of my friends had an argument about this..
he said that these aircrafts are actually passenger planes..(he said like A-130 s..but I don't believe it)

he also said when they reach higher altitudes the engines leave a smoky trail like this...ha ha..
But These things I saw had the ability to fly faster than a normal passenger plane.. They were damn fast.. I only had a minute to capture all these shots...

    yeah it does,itz because of the moisture in the air ;)

    If the air aloft is really humid, the second one is causing more condensation than the exhaust and the contrail will last a long time. If the air aloft is very dry, the contrail will be only from the exhaust and it will not last very long as the dry air will absorb the humidity from the exhaust.
