Got a Job offer from UAE. It was too good to be true. Patta perks. So I did some digging and when I checked the website it was a legit looking website with all links working. They wanted to me to talk to a law company for the visa and even that company had a legit looking site with photos and shit.
- Although it was a huge company the contact number was a mobile number
- What gave it away was the company location never showed up on google maps
- Spelling mistakes on the offer letter
- Offer was too generous

yeah, but machan if you look at the sender email it is from hotmail or something. That too is suspicious. Just like that there are lot of tell tale signs that will give this away. But for a person who is really desperate and not that conscious about things like that it is quite tempting to explore.
They even answer the phone ban. Kelinma ussanawa no IVR or stuff that you will see in a normal organization
It’s hard to imagine anyone falling for these types of scams in this day and age. But I probably feel that way because I’ve been on the internet for over 2 decades and my spider senses go off the moment I see such a site.yeah, but machan if you look at the sender email it is from hotmail or something. It probably comes down to timing and how desperate the person is. The closest I’ve been from being scammed is the famous Dialog Lord of the Reload call scam.
I have no way of sharing the offer letter machan. But if you see that you will re think about how sharp your sensors might be.It’s hard to imagine anyone falling for these types of scams in this day and age. But I probably feel that way because I’ve been on the internet for over 2 decades and my spider senses go off the moment I see such a site.
It probably comes down to timing and how desperate the person is. The closest I’ve been from being scammed is the famous Dialog Lord of the Reload call scam.
The point is people go to the extent of setting legit looking sites, phone answering operation etc just to make the scam believable.
