Romans 12:20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."

This is Christianity

When Simon saw (Acts chapter 8:13-24) that the apostles had miraculous power, he offered them money in hopes he too could obtain this power. Peter explains what he needed to do :

But Peter said to him, "May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!

You have no part or portion in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.

Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.

For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity."

But Simon answered and said, "Pray to the Lord for me yourselves, so that nothing of what you have said may come upon me."

Science & Buddism on Origin of the Universe

Accordng to Lord Buddha Universe has no beginning

In the eyes of the Buddha, the world is nothing but Samsara -- the cycle of repeated births and deaths. To Him, the beginning of the world and the end of the world is within this Samsara. Since elements and energies are relative and inter-dependent, it is meaningless to single out anything as the beginning. Whatever speculation we make regarding the origin of the world, there is no absolute truth in our notion.

The question of the origin of the world was one which the Buddha refused to answer.

    Scientists say something different

The conclusion of this lecture is that the universe has not existed forever. Rather, the universe, and time itself, had a beginning in the Big Bang, about 15 billion years ago." Stephen Hawking

Your thoughts are always welcome

The question of the origin of the world was one which the Buddha refused to answer. Even though Buddha know the answer, Buddha realised that any answer would create much controversy and argument. He said that it was not necessary to know it in order to achieve the goal of Buddhist practice and made an analogy with a man shot in the arm by a poisoned arrow. He would not allow anyone to pull the arrow out of his arm until he had received the answer to various questions, such as: who shot the arrow? who made the feathers? etc. The Buddha said that before he could obtain an answer to such questions, the poison would enter his bloodstream and kill him. Similarly, we have an urgent problem - we have to endure the unsatisfactoriness of existence. We should apply ourselves exclusively to eradicating dukkha.
