Dont be misguided by these kind of futile challanges. The whole idea of this challenge is to show the world that Quran is so unique and devine , and give it a false importance it does not desrve. what importance a book have if it was just a record of hallucinations of a pedophile?? If it was full of mathematical errors?? grammetical errors? if it is full of scientific errors and full of contradictions? SO this challenge is to stop average muslims reading and comparing with modern day knowledge, and to throw sand in their curious eyes and blind them with this fake undeserved importance. Obviously their is No challange and even as you have correctly understood the challenge it self is a subjective issue. No objective decision can be made . But the real reason is to throw a fake meaningless challenge like this and make average person confused. But smart people will always see the futile, meaningless challenge as it is. this is the only thing they can bring forward and repeat in response to 1000s of scientific, mathematical and logical errors of quran. And that single response is a bigger joke than Quran..

Obviously muhammed and allah didnt know about Photocopy machines......:D:lol::D

aye bang duwaneaaa umbalage ex-muslim community ekeaa arabic dan'na ekkeneak naddaa ?

Ok. I don't know Arabic. But I know that the English translation of the Quran is fairly accurate if you think of the content. So I've read the challenge several times now, but can't find where Allah said It should be in Arabic. Allah says that it is a challenge for the whole world. Also GOD knows all the languages right? So can you please show me where Allah exactly said that it should be in ARABIC and the challenge is for those who speak ARABIC, and that I can be a JUDGE? English translation would be good enough, I don't know ARABIC. But please don't come up with the illogical argument that says "If you don't know Arabic you can't understand."

It seems to me like you are altering what Allah said, and adding your own conditions to this challenge.

I'm just curious about this challenge. Say someone will try and write such a chapter or a verse or a book. Who will be the judge to say that it is equal to Quran or not?

if u like to read quraan 1st of all qurahan eka kiywanna itakota terei me okkoma oyata den sinhala tranlate ekath tiyanawa oa inna pette eti:)

English translation is sufficient for me. Thank you.

Mama me challenge eka gana thiyena English translation eka godak awadanayen kiyewwa. Eke kothanakawath kiyala naha meka ARABIC wallin karanda ona kiyalawath, challenge eka thiyenne arabic therena ayata witharai kiyalawath.

I'm just interested to know about the challenge. Say if it is only for those who understand arabic. Then it's not a Universal challenge and its only for the arabs or muslims. Meaning you are kind of proving Ex-muslim ahemed's point. The challenge is only for muslims, So no point in telling about it to anyone else other than muslims.

And since quaran says that anyone who take the challenge and fail will go to hell, no muslim will ever dare to take the challenge. And the challenge will remain unchallenged. I don't see a challenge in that.

Also There's no need for me to read the Quran first. Our good Muslim brothers and Sisters have a good knowledge about it. So you can first explain the conditions of the challlenge.. Then I can refer the book and understand more.

I belive that GOD knows all the languages but I dont think that you belive in GOD (I mean the GOD concept of ISLAM) If u belive then there is no point in discussing !

So can you please show me where Allah exactly said that it should be in ARABIC and the challenge is for those who speak ARABIC, and that I can be a JUDGE?

The orginal quran was reveled in arabic if u ask y ? because it was reveled to a communtiy who only knew arabic lanuage
and the message of quran reveled to the prophet in arabic

Say: "If the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another." [Qur'an 17:88]

I preveously mentiioned that the quran was reveled in arabic so its must you should produce your work in arabic If you wish lator we can translate ur work into english (If u can win the challange)

But please don't come up with the illogical argument that says "If you don't know Arabic you can't understand."

In your point of view you are not Challenging GOD because still (I assume) You don't believe in GOD so now you are challenging the quran so
for example if you wanna debate with a computer engineer about a programming language then it is a must that you should know programming with out knowing programming
you can't debate with him ok

    original-quran-saved-in-turkey.jpg

So fluency in Arabic literature is must !!

    I don't know ARABIC

There are many Non-Muslims knows Arabic you can ask help from any one cuz the quran states

“Say: ‘If all mankind and the jinn would come together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce its like even though they exerted all and their strength in aiding one another.’” (Quran 17:88)

“Or do they say that he has invented it? Say (to them), ‘Bring ten invented chapters like it, and call (for help) on whomever you can besides God, if you are truthful.” (Quran 11:13)

“And if you all are in doubt about what I have revealed to My servant, bring a single chapter like it, and call your witnesses besides God if you are truthful.” (Quran 2:23)

    source :
    http://www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Miracle/ijaz.html

    cAbdur Rahim Green mentions that:
These are the sixteen al-Bihar (literally "The Seas", so called because of the way the poem moves, according to its rhythmic patterns): at-Tawil, al-Bassit, al-Wafir, al-Kamil, ar-Rajs, al-Khafif, al-Hazaj, al-Muttakarib, al-Munsarih, al-Muktatab, al-Muktadarak, al-Madid, al-Mujtath, al-Ramel, al-Khabab and as-Saria'. So the challenge is to produce in Arabic, three lines, that do not fall into one of these sixteen Bihar, that is not rhyming prose, nor like the speech of soothsayers, and not normal speech, that it should contain at least a comprehensible meaning and rhetoric, i.e. not gobbledygook.( Now I think at least the Christian's "Holy spirit" that makes you talk in tongues, part of your "Tri-Unity" of God should be able to inspire one of you with that!)
To begin with; the Arabic language and Arab speech are divided into two branches. One of them is rhymed poetry. It is a speech with metre and rhyme, which means every line of it ends upon a definite letter, which is called the 'rhyme'. This rhymed poetry is again divided into metres or what is called as al-Bihar, literally meaning 'The Seas'. This is so called because of the way the poetry moves according to the rhythmic patterns. There are sixteen al-Bihar viz; at-Tawil, al-Bassit, al-Wafir, al-Kamil, ar-Rajs, al-Khafif, al-Hazaj, al-Muttakarib, al-Munsarih, al-Muktatab, al-Muktadarak, al-Madid, al-Mujtath, al-Ramel, al-Khabab and as-Saria'. Each one rhymes differently. For metres of Arabic poetry please see please see Lyall's book Translations Of Ancient Arabian Poetry, Chiefly Pre-Islamic.[1]He discusses al-Kamil, al-Wafir, al-Hajaz, at-Tawil, al-Bassit, al-Khafif and al-Madid briefly.[2]
The other branch of Arabic speech is prose, that is non-metrical speech. The prose may be a rhymed prose. Rhymed prose consists of cola ending on the same rhyme throughout, or of sentences rhymed in pairs. This is called "rhymed prose" or sajc. Prose may also be straight prose (mursal). In straight prose, the speech goes on and is not divided in cola, but is continued straight through without any divisions, either of rhyme or of anything else. Prose is employed in sermons and prayers and in speeches intended to encourage or frighten the masses.[3] One of the most famous speeches involving sajc is that of Hajjaj bin Yusuf in his first deputation in Iraq in post-Islamic and Quss bin Sa'idah in pre-Islamic times.
So, the challenge, as Abdur Rahim Green mentions, is to produce in Arabic , three lines, that do not fall into one of these sixteen al-Bihar, that is not rhyming prose, nor like the speech of soothsayers, and not normal speech, that it should contain at least a comprehensible meaning and rhetoric, i.e. not gobbledygook. Indeed
The Qur'an is not verse, but it is rhythmic. The rhythm of some verses resemble the regularity of sajc, and both are rhymed, while some verses have a similarity to Rajaz in its vigour and rapidity. But it was recognized by Quraysh critics to belong to neither one nor the other category.[4]
    some pre-Islamic tries
It is interesting to know that all the pre-Islam and post-Islamic poetry collected by Louis Cheikho falls in the above sixteen metres or al-Bihar.[5] Indeed the pagans of Mecca repeated accuse Prophet Muhammad(P) for being a forger, a soothsayer etc. The Arabs who were at the pinnacle of their poetry and prose during the time of revelation of the Qur'an could not even produce the smallest surah of its like. The Qur'an's form did not fit into any of the above mentioned categories. It was this that made the Qur'an inimitable, and left the pagan Arabs at a loss as to how they might combat it as Alqama bin cAbd al-Manaf confirmed when he addressed their leaders, the Quraysh:
Oh Quraish, a new calamity has befallen you. Mohammed was a young man the most liked among you, most truthful in speech, and most trustworthy, until, when you saw gray hairs on his temple, and he brought you his message, you said that he was a sorcerer, but he is not, for we seen such people and their spitting and their knots; you said, a diviner, but we have seen such people and their behavior, and we have heard their rhymes; you said a soothsayer, but he is not a soothsayer, for we have heard their rhymes; and you said a poet, but he is not a poet, for we have heard all kinds of poetry; you said he was possessed, but he is not for we have seen the possessed, and he shows no signs of their gasping and whispering and delirium. Oh men of Quraish, look to your affairs, for by Allah a serious thing has befallen you.
It is a well known fact that the Qur'an was revealed in seven ahruf (or seven forms) to facilitate greater understanding of it among the Arabs who had different dialects. This was also to challenge them on their own grounds to produce a surah like that of the Qur'an. The challenge became more obvious when none of the seven major tribes could imitate it even in their own dialects as no one could claim that it was difficult to imitate due to it not being in their own dialect.[6]

If u r say that you can break the challenge that means you are already declared that u don't believe in Islam !!! Therefore you don't need to worry about islam is universal religion or not just you have to try break the challenge of Quran

for example :- if you go to a forgin university from srilanka they will ask whether you have IELTS 6.0 if you unable to pass the
ielts exams cuz you are not fluent in englsih that doesnt mean that the university is bad or the university isn't world recocnized !!!

Assuming that this means something good, thank you. And I can say "like wise" brother.

I belive that GOD knows all the languages but I dont think that you belive in GOD (I mean the GOD concept of ISLAM) If u belive then there is no point in discussing !

Irrelevant. Let's just discuss without bringing who believes or who doesn't. You have not answered the question here. Since GOD knows all the languages what difference does it make if the new surah is in another language?

The orginal quran was reveled in arabic if u ask y ? because it was reveled to a communtiy who only knew arabic lanuage
and the message of quran reveled to the prophet in arabic

Say: "If the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another." [Qur'an 17:88]

We can discuss this point. What I see is that you add a definition to the word "like" here. How do you know this like means that it should be in arabic? If one says "like" says that the new surah should have the same rhythmic creativity like quran how would you argue? What exactly do you mean by "like"?

Anyway since you say that it should be in arabic, I accept that. This supports my opinion anyway. I have no doubt that quran is a wonderful piece of literature, a masterpiece. But I think there are other such masterpieces of literature in the world. IMO I think the challenge was only for the people who lived at that time who knew Arabic. The challenge is not Universal. There's no clear criteria on the conditions etc. So the challenge does not prove that Quran is divine.

In your point of view you are not Challenging GOD because still (I assume) You don't believe in GOD so now you are challenging the quran so
for example if you wanna debate with a computer engineer about a programming language then it is a must that you should know programming with out knowing programming
you can't debate with him ok

I do not wish to challenge anything. I simply want to understand it first. Say I want to take the challenge, I must first know the conditions of the challenge, and I'm not sure that they are clear. This challenge is not a challenge until there is a clear challenge. Or if you agree that it is not universal, then that's acceptable. Then no use in bringing it up to prove that Quran is divine to anyone who is not a Muslim.

So fluency in Arabic literature is must !!
Again an assumption based on your(Not allah's) definition of like.

I have not said that I can break the challenge. I'm not worring about Islam being Universal or not. I suggest that you re-read my post to understand what I'm saying. I just said the challenge is not Universal but only for the Muslims.

My POINT: If the challenge is not Universal there's no point in bringing it up to prove that the Quran is divine to someone who is outside of ISLAM.

sorry If I considered u as a challenger but I think u r an information seeker regarding Islam

if the challenge is not Universal there's no point in bringing it up to prove that the Quran is divine tosomeone who is outside of ISLAM

1 - The quran was reveled to Propet muhammed(PBUH) And the civilization which was there were Arabs not muslims
then its its pointless in arguing that the quran is only for Muslims !!! If GOD reveled the quran only for muslims then only prophet muhammed sorry even prophet muhaammed can't preach it !!
so that ur argument which the quran is only for muslims is pointless

2 - we have authentic news that the arab non beliver (an arab sect) tried to break the challenge of Quran abd failed !!!
If the quran is only 4 muslims why did the arabs try to break the challange ? they can say the challenge isnt 4 us its only 4 muslims ???? but y did they tried ?

3 - I am asking you that If the quran challange is not universal because of its language is arabic then Are there any language that can be understandable by each and every human who can speak well ?

If u still say that the quran challange should be in a universal
lanuage specify a universal language that must be specked and must be writable by each and every human in the earth?

    answer me ok

We will further explain you about the quran (inaha allah)

universal (-affecting, concerning, or involving all-

sorry If I considered u as a challenger but I think u r an information seeker regarding Islam
    You are correct.

1 - The quran was reveled to Propet muhammed(PBUH) And the civilization which was there were Arabs not muslims
    Agreed.

then its its pointless in arguing that the quran is only for Muslims
I have made no such argument.

!!! If GOD reveled the quran only for muslims then only prophet muhammed sorry even prophet muhaammed can't preach it !!
so that ur argument which the quran is only for muslims is pointless
Again I have made no such argument. I said the challenge is only for Muslims.

2 - we have authentic news that the arab non beliver (an arab sect) tried to break the challenge of Quran abd failed !!!
Please provide your authentic news. Where can I find this??

If the quran is only 4 muslims why did the arabs try to break the challange ? they can say the challenge isnt 4 us its only 4 muslims ???? but y did they tried ?
Again I never said Quran is only for muslims. But as to the question why anyone ever tried to break the challenge, because Muslims themselves say that the challenge is for everyone. Come on, I really expect more than this . You cannot prove anything by giving something someone else did. Maybe they misunderstood the whole thing. Someone trying to break a challenge proves that it is for everyone???? How??? It only states that someone outside Islam tried the challenge. Only conditions laid by the challenger will decide for whom it was intended. Now if you ask me, what really might indicate that the challenge is for everyone is given in the Quran itself..

"If the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another." [Qur'an 17:88]

Then the interesting question is, if the challenge is for everyone why should it be in Arabic?? And you have not answered this question yet. How did you decide that it should be in Arabic? Remember I have already quoted on the subjectiveness of the word 'like'

3 - I am asking you that If the quran challange is not universal because of its language is arabic
There are few reasons to say why it is not Universal. But yes, if the language should be arabic, then how can it be universal?

then Are there any language that can be understandable by each and every human who can speak well ?
Irrelevant. My point is that anyone should be able to accept the challenge in any language he/she prefer, because of the obvious reasons
    (1) GOD knows all languages
    (2) There's no part in the challenge where Allah says it should be in arabic

If u still say that the quran challange should be in a universal lanuage specify a universal language that must be specked and must be writable by each and every human in the earth?
There aren't such languages and irrelevant to the discussion. There's no question on it being in a Universal language, but only on it being in any language. My point is that 'surah like it' can be in any language if the challenge is universal.

    answer me ok
    I have tried my best.

We will further explain you about the quran (inaha allah)
    Thank you.

YOU Can the Reason to Love Lacoste

Lacoste is one of the world’s leading brands in quality athletic shirtsandcasual shirts. It produces the kind of shirts that is both relaxed and wearable every day, while being durable and this isn’t surprising, given the history of the Lacoste brand.Having experienced a long history and won a good trade reputation, Lacoste has been the first or second brand-name in the world. Anyway there’s now a vast range of T-shirts, polo-shirts, and dress shirts designed to be as comfortable as underwear but as stylish as the most fashion aware consumer could demand.Look out for fantastic budget casual shirts in the Lacoste range, in particular Lacoste t shirts that hark back to the simple, cosy comfort of the very first brand but carry all the durability and style of this international brand. Lacoste is one of the world’s best selling cost-conscious T-shirts for three good reasons: comfort, price and hard-wearing design.
