Screenfilter for glare reduction

How much effective is a screen filter for reducing the glare on a CRT monitor?

Are there filters specially made for reduction of glare?

Can anyone recommend me a good screen filter that can reduce the glare really well, and the place to buy it and price?

There are one's from Rs.250 in the market i think.. but a good one like 3M would cost you upto Rs.4000 (15") - Rs.7000 (17")
