No modems buddy.I got paid saying it...router is the thing for ADSL.Now in the PC house they sell US robotics for 9.25k.Others are around 5~6k.

US Robotics ones are Rs.7500. D-Link also the same price. Routers are easy to handle because no drivers are involved (except of course the LAN driver ) They should be faster than modems, but you can't really tell a difference with 512k connections. It will only show in ADSL2+ speeds. Since every ADSL user is a torrent leecher, you should try to get hold of something that doesn't get confused with lots of connections. GTRZ will tell you better about these.

You must be talking about switches. They have Alcatel, NEC, Ericsson and few others. But they are not related to ADSL. What's related to ADSL is the DSL Access Multiplexor and SLT has Alcatel and ZTE (AFAIK) and they say Alcatel are much better.

Talk with Cheron(the china like guy) @ EPSI head office and we can get 1-2ks cut off by talking & reasoning with him friendly.He is friendly too.
