In today's (08) confrontation with troops in MULLIKULAM around 10.00 a.m., troops killed six terrorists. No causalities were reported among troops in this incident.
In another similar instance today (08) at around 1.00 p.m. in PERIYATANPANNE, fighting erupted between troops & LTTE terrorists, in which four terrorists were killed.
Troops suffered no causalities.
In another incident troops in a surprise move attacked & destroyed two LTTE terrorist bunkers in which two LTTE terrorists were confirmed killed during the confrontation.
