well this seems to be lyk a very very massive & a thoroughly complecated subject to talk on!!
Actually there isnt be ny self entertaining or ny fancy reason to the people who r doing such sort of things!!It should be something spiritual!!& in Buddhism we very oftenly talk about the pronunciation this even can be an effect if someone is born as a male in his present birth & have been born as a female in his previous birth, So this could also be some reason for these king of individuals to depend on these guilty things!!& I dont quite think they'll even get some pleasure more than suffering after doing this!!

I don't think it's a big deal considering the scientific facts. But when it comes to SL culture, this is a huge problem. I wonder how this guy explained to his family what he is going to do. Sure a person could go through a sex change to actually be what ever they are in their mind. But I think in SL, since many people are ignorant about this subject, it makes that person's life even more complicated.

so what's the big deal ?
Its his or her right to become what he or she wants to be.

ya if one is not happy with his/her gender one should be allowed to have it changed  nobody was asked of which sex he/she want to be at that start

But macah , I will never marry a girl who already was a boy and become a girl like that.

I need a girl who can give a birth to sinhala buddisht kids.

for the record i won't either

of course in this case you gta pay the price..you change your sex, the life you are to lead wouldn't be as easy and sound and original and normal as for a normal person..sex is something authentic you can't just get off changing it right. well but if one is really not happy and is willing to pay the price, why not go for it

So you marry for the sole purpose of having kids ? Nothing else ? Have you tested your self to see if you're fertile first ?
How do you find a girl ? you marry her only if she gets pregnant ?
    What if she's infertile ? you'll divorce her ?
What happens if it turns out that you're infertile ?

Our culture says nothing about a sex change. As for religion, which one are you talking about ? there are many here.
