First Im not a Royal or Isipathana.
Its part of the game. That's why there are referees. And this is not the 1st time something happen like that.
Also its not a reason to walk off.
First see the video . What is the colour of the opposing team. Iisipathana is green but the opponents are wearing red and yellow stripes . There are no red stripes in Royal flag. This may be another school.
Royal Isipathana game was awarded to Isipathana and game ended as the team w/0 , but the Isipathana /St Josephs game had to be abandoned without a result, that also ended schools rugby as referees refused to officiate the matches.
My belief is that in last 5-10 years the standards of game had lost drastically be it Royal or Trinity or St Josephs. Isipathana had always been accused of being more physical in the game (lot of foul play go unnoticed) It is not possible to see all the bad things in the field by the refrees. As police cannot catch all the wrongdoers. The purpose of playing game has lost and now winning at any cost is the name of the game be it rugby or another game.
