Share volume : number of shares traded during the day

Trade Volume : Number of trades happened during the day.

lets say share volume is 10000 and trade volume is 5 then there were 5 trades total shares traded during those 5 trades were 10000
can be like this
1st trade 2000 shares
2nd trade 5000 shares
3rd trade 1000 shares
4th trade 200 shares
5th trade 1800 shares.

so share volume 10000 (2000+5000+1000+200+1800)
trade volume 5

short answer you cant have live access to the system without an account with CSE.

for that you need to open an account with cse. you can do it by a little as Rs:1000 most of the member firms give you online trading platform for free.

change the jkh.n0000 to the relevant share that you want to check

for sampath bank change it to

most places the dont give you access to historical data (but these guys do)
