Shootout between fleeing gunmen and Police

A shootout erupted between fleeing gunmen and police at Kotte a few minutes ago resulting in one of the gunmen being shot dead and at least 3 others managing to escape. Police said that the incident occurred when police at a roadblock attempted to stop a car on information it was transporting weapons.
