Shutdown timer for Ubuntu 10.1

can any1 lz tell me is there any command or app to set a shutdown timer 4 ubuntu 10.1 ??
I need to auto shutdown my computer after downloading torrents. there is a feature to make auto shutdown in Ktorrent. but it doesnt work.
I used 'Sudo shutdown' command. It shuts down the OS but not the computer.
please help me....
