1. install sinhala unicodes
2. use either

• online converter http://www.ucsc.cmb.ac.lk/ltrl/services/feconverter/t1.html
  
• DL madura http://madurax86.co.nr/Unicode.zip

online converter is basically copy paste tool in contrast madhura is direct tool where you can write on board( please read the 'read me' to know the codes & language shifting keys
