Just because we say Indhiyawa, Austhraliawa, Singapuruwa, Rusiyawa doesnt mean oya nam, gam, ratawal Sinhala wenne na. Forgive me and correct me if Im wrong but this posting like many others lately in this forum sounds as if Tamils, Muslims and other minorities are somehow taking over the Sri Lanka from the Sinhala majority. If not then, I am sure this could've been presented better instead of a negative heading and title. but if Im wrong then fernandokasu ... samaa wenna! I make this comment because I know a lot of Sinhalese, Tamil and Muslims and grew up amongst them and talk all languages. I honestly can’t remember anyone who whole heartedly was against each other in terms of race or religion. We were like brothers and sisters. Nor is the average person want to conquer the other. There are few who will try to take advantage when possible but that’s human nature we can’t blame and start hating a whole community for that. Lately SL has changed and attitudes are more in a racist over tone. Everything is Sinhala, Muslim or Tamil. I think it’s mainly because of our bastard political system that JR invented where so called political parties such as TNA, SLMC, JHU etc have flourished with no benefit to those communities. I think, we should only have national parties such as the SLFP, UNP, JVP, CP, LSSP etc. I hope we all can live peacefully in this one small nation. If you don’t agree then you are a minority within your community. The least you can do is try to learn about larger nations that live peacefully most of the time and by doing so they have achieved success in a grand scale. e.g. China, India ... Even after the deadly war that separated India and Pakistan, did you know that India still has more Muslims than Pakistan for example? Learn and keep learning you will only know the truth if you keep learning and not listen to politicians and their twisted tales. I think you are more intelligent than most other nations around us to know by now that most politicians are there in our country to make money for themselves. Not for the masses, be it Sinhala, Tamil or Muslim or any prpud Sri Lankan in general.
