Fully vaccinated people can get infected - but the vaccines work.

This is not exactly a study on transmissibility from vaccinated persons and that needs more investigations. Because though the viral load is the same, these are reasons to believe that it could be less infectious. Cannot comment on this unless properly tested.

The Delta variant can make you sicker.

Three recent studies in Canada, Singapore and Scotland indicate that the variant raises the risk of hospitalization, intensive care unit admissions and death.
But there is evidence that even though the vaccines can be less effective, but still, vaccination reduces the risk of these serious complications.

Delta variant is more transmissible than the other variants.

Internal CDC documents show that
Delta variant is more transmissible than: - MERS & SARS - Ebola - Common cold- Seasonal flu & 1918 (“Spanish”) flu - Smallpox

Delta variant is as transmissible as:- Chicken Pox

Vaccinations & Masks remain Crucial.

This is why the CDC recommends return to masking - Use a N95 or a surgical mask.
