AI looks for a marketable pop star that they can bank on to market to the masses to make money for them and for the winner (Potentially a win-win situation).  They make no bones about this and they look for that one star.Our local shows arn't forthcoming about exactly who they are looking for and makes all kinds of excuses or come up with crap like "the most talented" and "the most famous" or "judges winner" and "viewers winner".That is the problem. If all the local shows makes it certain as to who they are looking for and get the judges to judge with that goal in mind, there will be no confusion in the show.</blockquote>
