Six injured in shooting in Anuradhapura

At least six persons- one of them seriously was injured in a shooting incident in Anuradhapura last night, Police said.

The incident took place at Dahiyagama close to Anuradhapura town.

There were contradictory claims about the reasons for the incident. One of them said it was due a private dispute while another report said that one group was supporting a political party and a rival group had fired at them.
