Message: <blockquote data-quote="yama_palla" data-source="post: 9274770" data-attributes="member: 321681">184 teams to contest inter-school cricket seasonThe Sri Lanka Schools Under-19 cricket tournament for the new season  will once again be sponsored by Munchee and the tournament has been  named the “2010-11 Munchee Youth-19 School Cricket Tournament”.     The tournament will run until April next year on a league system.      The President of the Schools Cricket Association and the Principal of  Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa, Rohana Karunaratne said a total of  184 teams will participate and 32 teams will be selected from round one  and out of this 16 will be chosen for the round two matches. Eight teams  will qualify for the quarter finals.     He also said that while these games progress evaluations will be  carried out to select the best team, best player of the tournament, best  bowler and best batsman.     The 16 teams that qualify for the round two matches will also take part  in a T-20 tournament. School teams from all parts of the island will  'pitch' for the trophy, and preliminary matches will take place at  regional level at a steady 'pace' while the finals are scheduled to take  place in Colombo where the winning team will be the lucky recipients of  the Munchee Challenge Trophy.     Royal College Colombo and Mahinda College Galle emerged joint winners  of the 50-over tournament while Nalanda College were the winners of the  T-20 tournament at the last event.</blockquote>
