I think its the high time people should look after themselves and leave the country as soon as possible wherever they could go, this political cancer has well grown within country even to the lowest administration level where the cure is unworkable. Covid has had a major impact on global economy, so we cannot just put it aside!
It played a big part in downfall of the Sri Lankan economy which was already in a bad state.

I agree with everything you have said regarding poor management of economy and everything else by all governments so far.
But the current government has taken many good steps to counter this (honestly don't know if it's enough)
Several months after Covid is gone only will we able to size up the actual situation of the economy.
