I recommend you buy alcohol in Colombo Duty Free, you can take upto 3 bottles if you buy there, and the price is not bad too..else only 2 if you bring from Aussie!

So what about bringing 2 from Aus and buying another 3 from the duty free?

Erm.. I hope not bro... because the black market kind of keeps the competitiveness alive in the phones prices in SL, And given that all those black market ones are original ones SL's phone prices are not bad! If these people try to control this....those authorized dealers will have a monopoly IMO!

I think the reason why they not allowing these things are, now there are printers that can print high-res and can easily print a high quality look-a-like money note! But still I think there should be some sort of procedure to make life easy for travelers...

Unfortunately the other phone I ordered is lost. Anyone knows what should I do? I have USPS tracking number. But it gives very little info.

LOST? OMG!! What courier service you used? Why dont you send an e-mail or complaint to their customer service? As well as inform the GPO! Dont wait for tracking if its too late to deliver! Also check and make sure what's the normal delivery time and it could take 2/3 days more.. I guess its normal!
