Nicky is one of the few players that make it through the academy system up to under 18's level through the years. Having being with Chelsea from an early age, Nicky has made his way through the younger age groups and is now considered a part of the under 18.
However due to the abundance of talent in the central midfield area, Nicky regularly a central midfielder has had to play more in a right back role. He has also being tested out on the right side of the midfield.
Despite Nicky's decent skills and ability, the changing of his position seems like a move to accomodate him rather than his ability to play better in the new positions. Nickys future might well depend on the movement of players in or out but any improvement on his part might secure him some more years at the club.
