Sliit hornors Degree have 4 years. and without passing al u can do first two years enyway. then if u have 3 passes u can go for the forth year . but if u have 2 only passes u can do autralian curtine university degree . it worth much as sllit horners degree but 3rd year fees are higher than normal fees because it is a forien degree (internal ) . if u pass only one subject u can complete the general sliit 3 year degree. Note that if u want to do the networking degree u has to 3 pases from math stream .

but can you explain why it become more difficult ? . bcoz my friend told me it is very easy one and not difficult as GCE A/L examination

people as i know & as a present student of SLIIT you can only progress upto 2 years in degree with out all 3 passes in the same sitting & people plz dnt consider SLIIT as a secondory degree awarding place ok its as much as recognized as a government uni so better treat it that way & all the best for 2marws test it consists of some mathematical & other logical questions

it become difficult thing when u miss the day to day work .

did u know that 2008 IT bacth have 80 % of student have one or more repet from 5 subjects in first semester .

but if u work day by day it is easy .

yeah its true in the 2008 Networking bacth also there were 50% who had repeat subjects & beleve me having a degree means not doing wat we do in the AL's like gira para we have to be with it from the word go so Mr.virajsameera is true & accurate its not about getting a degree its about the passion you have for what ever you do

I have done my A/L's in science stream ( B , C , F ) . So can't I ask for Networking Degree ?
Why it wants maths ?

well mr wsvperera u cant cause it is compulsory to do maths but there is an alternate you can join the curtain batch which is costly & do a 3 year degree but for that also i guess AL is needed & as mr viraj mentioned refer our web site www.sliit.lk
