Anyway SLIIT is better now than it was b4. I agree on that...

I know that when it comes to private universities, people do not look at them in a good manner. Thatz because of our free education system. No one can tell that UCSC is not good, caz there are people who have lot of potential within them. But they have good A/L results and they can move to any field, but what about others.

When it comes to SLIIT, it helped so many people in this country to find a job by giving the IT knowledge with Library Facilities, Labs and Text books affordable price to Sri Lankan People comparing with foreign universities. So Good luck SLIIT. You made lot of dreamz .... a reality.

nd ddnt heard any ragging thing abt UCSC also. eth me langakadhi uom eka wahala thibuna nilawarana case ekakata, (b4 1-3 years) ?

however machn mama katha kale poduwe uni gena misak uom or UoC gena withark neme.

I' not talking about mini project of the subjects. I'm talking about the level 3 individual project and the level 4 research group project. they are all research basis...

if you want I can send you links ti all the 25 research projects of my batch

UNI closed due to the conflict in 2006. after that the only interruption was due to strikes of non academic staff. apart from that we continued. that is why while pera students of the same batch is undergoing training still while we are even halfway finished the first sem of final year.

Do not ask about NDT. they are different section from MPR. I'm talking about the E-FAC. they may have. but we do not have a single element of ragging with us.
but machan when you are talking about unis in general then it is inclusive of UOM. if you have facts about some institutions then mention their names and expree the fact.

Yes we have students who worked in Kumbura. I personally know a Tamil guy Who came from Batticoloa, who have worked in Kumbura with his father, now working in a Software Company. He never got a repeat subject and got the SLIIT scholarship straight ahead till the final. That is one example I know.

Agree , shame to the UCSC these guys or girls. I am also a UCSC person
but a External student, we are different. we are open. not like this. Even
among the internal students this type of gys are few , more are good.

and also SLIIT also conducting a Electronic Engineering Degree program these days. But the problem is their charges are high. It says that they
charging RS 70,000/- per a semester.

you're wrong in a one word here , I personally choose to do UCSC BIT among SLIIT because of the money problem. Don't say lies , the costs are still high. If they also can
only conduct the exams like UCSC BIT program , and students have to self study or
go outside classes then the prices will be dropped due to the competition. That's why
Dr. <I don't remember his name , but he is dead> did on the BIT program. More
competition among the ppl who conduct classes IDM , ESOFT , MATRIX ..... Then
lower prices and more expertise due to challenge. That is who the things are
on. I suggest SLIIT also that paradigm then it will be complete as I think.

No one can say that SLIIT prices are low. It's not taking money or not BIT does take
money but the problem is taking a fair amount of money.

you totoally missed the point bro. what I saying is , if they can provide exams only
like UCSC , then the things will be fine. Like BIT classes there will be external SLIIT classes and it will increase the competition and lower the prices. that will be a good
thing for the students.

that is what DR. Sam_____ < like that name I don't acutally remember his full name.
he did to the BIT program. But BIT I and II year Sylibus sucks , and SILLT sylibus is ok.


and I want to remember you that I never buy any text books , I just downloaded them. however it's not ethical.
