Machan.. as an Institute SLIIT is more recognized Than SAITM. if you check the Sri Lankan University Ranking 2013 u can get to know the Place SLIIT has.. It's even better tham some of the Government Universities.. according to the Private and Semi-government Institute surveys SLIIT is the number one private University.. NIBM,SAITM and all the other institutes are behind the SLIIT..
yeah machan I know that..the only problem is there isn't a Mechatronics degree available which is awarded by a foreign university at SLIIT.The Mechatronics degree at SLIIT is awarded by SLIIT itself.and there isn't much specialty subjects in it.
If I go to SLIIT I will have to do Computer Systems Engineering which I don't prefer much.(well I don't dislike it though)So thats why I have thought about SAITM. there Mechatronics degree is quite good. which includes AI stuff too. but as far as rank is concerned SLIIT is way better..but I have to think about the field also noh..
anyway I haven't selected SAITM either yet.I want to knw the bad side of both and come in to a decision.anyway I appreciate your comments..Thanks bro..

This is not about SLIIT vs SAITM this is all about two different fields...
If you love Mechatronics and you think that you are good on it Just do it

In SL context... IT got so many job opportunities as well as there is a competition
You said that kollo ballo okkoma SLIIT yanawa, yes there are so many people get joined with SLIIT at first yearm but when it comes to third year most of them are stopped the course. It happens if you didn't work at SLIIT and keep increasing no of repeats I can recommend SLIIT as a good private campus with good facilities
I can't compare it with SAITM since i haven't been there
