SLT ADSL Connection help

to give you the answer, I need to ask you some questions :

1.do ur neighbors have a adsl router
2.according to u,you are taking connection directly from the telephone exchange which slt ppl has given? ya? then if those ppl receive a call, if your cable also plugged into a telephone,it is ringing? ya?

Im assuming the situation is somewhat like this :
you and your neighbor is not far. i assume its like 60-80m.
you have Ethernet cable instead of telephone cable (rj 45 instead of rj11)
your neighbors have adsl router that has 4ports w/o wifi and they are using it
you have 2 or more pcs in your home and you want to connect all those at the same time to use internet
you need wifi to connect your smartphone


so the solution to ur problem is like this :
buy long ethernet cable accordingly and plug it into their router (to a vacant slot) and bring the cable to your home. (this is not the telephone cable)
buy a 4port ethernet switch(this is not a 4port router) and wireless access point (this not not a wireless router).(if you dont want to use wireless,ignore access point)
plug the ethernet cable to your 4port switch.
if you are to use wireless first configure the wireless access point (SSID/wireless password)
buy or make an ethernet cable to use with your wireless AP and plug that ethernet cable from your 4port switch to wireless AP
make/buy a long ethernet cables to use with your desktops in your home and plug those cables to your 4port switch.

If you have a ADSL connection then you can use other peoples user names and passwords and it will work. What I've mentioned here is DSL connection user name and password login required after this..
