can't we use a splitter and do it :( i asked slt people but they said that they don't know about it
You can't do that, using ethernet cable or WiFi are only ur options either way your neighbor will always have to keep his router on so you can access internet..
DSL activation 1 user name = 1 DSL connection
single user name cannot have two dsl connections at the same time.

Use a wifi router it's better. you can't use normal CAT 5 cables if the distance is higher than 100 meters. normally ADSL lines come up with CAT 5 cables so it's practically impossible if you want a quality connection.

You can ,then you need to turn your router into a modem. go to the WAN Connection in your router and check the PPPOE Bridge connection.

If you have a ADSL connection then you can use other peoples user names and passwords and it will work. What I've mentioned here is DSL connection user name and password login required after this..

You can't use two routers for a same line. However if you can get a LAN cable you can plug it into a Hub/Router and make it act as a bridge so that that router will be in your home and you can plugin your devices to it. This can even be a wi-fi router just turn of DHCP and you can use it as a bridge. :)
