this is the problem i had with my adsl connection. as you all know there are 4 LED lights on a router.

    1. POWER
    2. ADSL LINE
    3. ADSL TX/RX (Internet)
    4. LAN

my problem was this, the internet light was not working. my adsl line was good because the ADSL LINE indicator was solid green, but i could not surf the web. Now im not sure if this methods will work with everyone but it worked for me so i will share it . :)

    method 1

    1. this is very simple. Access your router setup through a web browser and type " 192.168.1.1 " on your browser's address bar and login to your router's setup. usually the password and username for the router is " admin " .

    2. Now all you have to do is enter your slt adsl username and password in the given field save and reboot the router. With some luck your issue will be solved :)

    method 2

    1. I dont know if this will help but if method 1 does not work try this. Create a dial up connection from the control panel and enter your slt adsl username and password and connect. Your connection should be back up and running. :)

no guarantees that this will work. But trying wont hurt anyone so if you have the same problem please make sure you try both these methods before you call slt customer care.

    * slt adsl username takes the following form " goxxxxxxx@sltbb " where xxxxxxx represents the last 7 digits of your LAN line.

    * the default slt password is the last digits of your LAN line.
