are you using a Prolink Hurricane901 usb modem?? if u are using this... its the cause of the problem..

Im using H9601 USB modem n sometimes line drops & reconnnect automatically.
They said this happens when modem heat goes up

yes.. that modem is bad business.. but some thing better.. if u are willing to spend some cash u wont get the connection dropping issues and bad speeds.. im telling this from first hand experience..

the hurricane modem is bad.. the other single port router that SLT gives for the same amount of money is just as bad..

Modem heat up when the ADSL signal strength drops.
