since few days i am having an issue with connection to ADSL I am accessing it from Kadawatha.

    1) Router's adsl bulb is blinking but never connect. No problem with phone line ( no Noice also)

    2) After reporting the issue, one tech guy came and fixed New Router for testing (bring by him) and after 1 - 2 minutes, it connected. Also he told there is no issue with the line

    3) Then I tested my router from Two Different location and both time it Connected within 1 minute. So the router is ok

So Where is the issue ? Is this belongs to my phone line ?

What can I do for thsi type of situation ?

    Thank all

    mokakda machan "G.DMT" kiyanne ?

    DSL - 2540T ?

Seems like it's a common issue on
2540T. The issue might be the distance between your router and the telephone loop or may be you are having a long twisted pair or telephone wire?

Did you check your line attenuation and noise level from the router page?

If there is nothing wrong with your connection (checking with an another model or with an another device is not the thing they should do), it may be due to a faulty device.

So you can try to update your device's firmware (don't brick it and blame me please) or you can dissemble and look for faulty components such as capacitors.

Tip: Check your router's power supply voltage too. If it's too low, it may causing synchronize issues. :D
