    They will put optic-fiber in my ass only. Those assholes never will improve with da technology. In another 170 odd days IPV4 is over and SLT has no plans of changing there main frame to IPV6. That means that we will run out of IP addresses and will be having even more slow connections cus we have to share the limited IP addresses we have. We Sri Lankans will be going back and back with our technology compared with the new technologies available in the world.
    HA HA SLT PUKKA THAMA!!!!!
    SLT already has IPv6.. :P

    first thing is to increase bandwidth for ADSL

    then do FTTN (fibre to the node)

    FTTN (up to 40 MBPS for telephone lines, 100 MBPS + for cable internet)

    after that in the future they can do FTTH (its more expensive)

    UK wela nan ADSL ISP's are moving to FTTN

    up to 40 MBPS down / 10 MBPS up

    cable provider is now deploying a 100 MBPS service

    they can do 200 MBPS soon

    SLT exchanges & SLT remote DSLM connect karala Fiber line ekak yanawa. dan godak areas walata (kalin exchange eke idan 4Km limit eka nathuwa) ADSL & PeoTV ganna puluwan me remote DSLM connect karala fiber netwok eka nisa.
