SLT Internet Speed

Can anyone tell me what is your maximum speed when you're downloading a file from the internet via IDM? SLT has increased the speed limits, 8mbps -> 16mbps, Does this mean when I'm downloading a file with IDM, its speed meter should go around 1-16Mbps? :O What if it always shows me around 850Kbps-1.4Mbps as my downloading speed? Please reply me with Sinhala or English Thanks!

ur IDM shows 1.4Mbps or 14MB/s. because 1.4MB/s = 11.2Mbps


anywas i get around 1.9MB/s with IDM. means around 15.2Mbps


1MB/s = 128KB/s
2MB/s = 16Mb/s

16Mbps means Sixteen Mega bits per second
8 bits = 1 byte
Eight Mega bits per second (8 Mbps) = 1 Mega bytes per second (1 MBps)
Sixteen Mega bits per socond (16 Mbps) = 2 Mega bytes per second (2 MBps)

I get around 1.9MBps download speed
