මම රජයේ ආයතනයක IT Section එකේ වැඩ කරන්නෙ. රජයේ ආයතනවලටම හදපු Softwaresවල අඩු පාඩු ගැන අමුතුවෙන් කියනන් අවශ්‍ය නැනේ. මේකයි මට තියන ප්‍රශ්නය​. software එකක් තියනවා ( නම්, ගම් කියන්න බැ, වැඩේ අහු වෙනවා ) ඒක හදලා තියෙන්නෙ ටිකක් වයසක ඩයල් එකක් . දැන් ඉන්නෙ Ausi . රජයේ ආයතනවල තාම තියෙන්නෙ පරන කොම්පියුටර්. ඒවා මාසයක් ගානේ කැඩෙනවා. ඉතින් ඒවා format කරලා software එක දාන්න වෙනවා . ඒ software එක active කරන්න තියෙන්නෙ හරිම අමුතු විදියකට​. ඒක මම හැමෝටම තේරෙන්න මෙහෙම කියන්නම්.

Computer (A) එකට මුලින්ම software එක දැම්ම ගමන් CODE එකක් එනවා. අපි ඒ CODE එකsoftware එක හදපු කෙනාට call කරලා serial number එක request කරන්න ඕනේ. එයා ඒ CODE එකට අදාලවා අපිට serial number එකක් එවනවා.

දැන් මේ serial number එක අපිට ජිවිත කාලෙටම මේ computer (A) එකට​ විතරක් use කරන්න පුළුවන්. Computer format කරලා ආයෙත් softwareඑක දාපු ගමන් පරණ CODE එක AUTO එනවා. අපිට කලින් දීපු CODE & Seria lnumberඑක ගැහුවම ඒ Computer එකට software එක activeවෙනවා. හැබැයි අපිට Computer(A) CODE & Serial number එක use කරලා වෙන computer එකක් use කරන්න බෑ. ඒකටත් වෙනම CODe එකක් එනවා. මම ඉතින් call දීලා serial numbers අර යකාගෙන් ඉල්ලගන්න ඔනේ. මේක මළ කරදරයක්. මේකට මොකක් හරි පිලියමක් නැද්ද​? ලගදි අනුරාධපුරේ ගියා. serial number එක ඉල්ලලා call කරාට අරූ mobile answer කරන්නෙ නැ. අපි මේ software එකට මුළු ගානම ගෙවලා ඉවරයි. එහෙම වෙද්දි අරූ අර විදියට කරන එක වැරදියි නේද මචන් මොකක් හරි පිලියමක් තියනව නම් කියන්න​.

C එකේ ප්‍රෝගැම් ෆයිල්ස්වලට ගිහින් ඒ සොෆ්ට්වෙය ෆෝල්ඩරේ කොපි කර ගනින්. ඊට පස්සෙ නිකමට වෙන කොම්පියුටරේකට කොපි කරලා ඕපන් කරපන්. ගොඩක් වෙලාවට වැඩ කරයි. වැඩ කරේ නැත්නම් C එකේ වින්ඩෝස් ෆෝල්ඩරේම කොපි කරන් ඇවිත් අරකට දාපන්. එතකොට නම බොහෝ දුරට වැඩේ හරි යයි.

He first generates a unique fingerprint for the machine. There are several ways of doing this. Then the serial is obtained using a hash function. Unless you reverse engineer or have the source code you are able to find out.
Or else you need to bypass the serial number checking by altering the compiled code. Not easy.

Should be doable with IDA Pro or GDB. Personally prefer GDB. Haven't done this kind of shit in a while.

I do agree with the unique fingerprint as well. Probably be generating with something like serial number of the processor or something similar.

Python is a fairly good start I guess.
Start with python 3.x.

ගොඩක් වෙලාවට ඕක කඩාගන්න පුලුවන් වෙයි. දැනට ලයිෂන් එක තියන pc එකකට අලුතින්ම os එක install කරලා full system snapshot එකක් අරගන්න (file system + registry) ඊට පස්සෙ සො‍ෆ්ට්වෙයා එක install කරල activate කරල ආයෙත් snapshot එකක් අරගෙන compare කරල බලන්න. වෙනස් වෙලා තියන දේවල් ඒ විදියටම target machine එකෙත් හදන්න. software එකෙන් හැම වෙලේම hardware id එකයි license key එකයි compare කරන්නෙ නැතුව කෙලින්ම activation එක check කරනවනම් මේ වැඩඩේ හරියන්න ඉඩ තියනවා. snapshot ගන්න softwares ඕනෙ තරම් තියනවා ගූගල් කරල බලන්න. සමහර ඒවල changes ගෙඩි පිටින්ම කොපි කරල ටාගට් මැෂින් එකට ගන්න පුලුවන්
