Designations and how the career ends for how long , do they become project managers or people managers or keep coding

within 3 years of experience try to reach at least of 300k, demand your self!

Can go for a starting salary around 120 to 150 if you are from a reputed uni. By 5 years , you can get 300 to 400, if you perform well. Depends on the company as well.

I started my career in 2011 as an ASE with a starting salary of 45 k (SE got paid 55K)
after 3 years 120K
joined to another company after in 3.5 years 121K ( was wanted to get rid of my first company )
after 5 years 150K (my 2nd company is famous for low salary increments)
after 9.5 years (6 years at my 2nd company) I left - last salary was round 210K
joined a new comapny and still in probation period... now it's almost 10 years since I joined the industry - 230K

nowdays my first company recruite fresh garduates for around 220K

got several higher salary offers from time to time, but not from reputed companies (some company was willing to pay 350K 2-3 years back but was not willing pay EPF ). so I did not considered to join.
