you can get Digital tv

Digital Terrestrial Television (DTTV or DTT)

in Sri lanka there is no Digital Terrestrial Television broadcasts currently

dialog has a plan to launch one in the future

Rupavahini also tested some time ago

Digital Terrestrial Television will not have a monthly fee

you just need to plug your UNF/VHF antenna to the digital receiver
(which is not that expensive)

problem for sri lanka is nobody is broadcasting

everybody is broadcasting on Analog
