1)Altering "page files" to increase performance
Right Click on "My Computer"
Select "Properties" and then "Advanced" tab
Go to "Performance" section and click on "Settings"
Select "Advanced" Tab
In the "vitual memory" section, click "change"
Select your drive (Eg.C)
Select "custom"
Put a value equal to 1.5 times of your RAM (Eg. If your ram is 1024, then put 1536)
(Put the same value for both "maximum" and "Intial")
Apply and Okay it.
Increasing desktop graphic performance
Right Click on "My Computer"
Select "Properties" and then "Advanced" tab
Go to "Performance" section and click on "Settings"
In the "Visual Effects" tab, select "Adjust for best performance"
Okay it.
