Hi,

Need your thoughts regarding this;
Joining for Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force

I have some doubts regarding this. Please help me to clarify those.

1. If any case, if i want to withdraw my position in army, How can i do this?

(Remove from army & working for the government organization as , currently doing)

Are you going to take any legal actions?



2. Is there any sort of a bond?


3. If i want to go abroad, (say for a job) what kind of restrictions apply on me

Please let me know, from where can i read the rules & regulations of this Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force

(Rules,Joining Procedure,Exiting Procedure, etc.)

why you join army in first place?

if u want to need joint to army as officer or soldier first i want to clarify that.if if u join as officer yes u have to training at Sri Lanka military academy and u have to under go one year hard training. after that u have to follow five month course again,,,it call as young officer course ,,,it consist of three legs

1st leg -tactics leg (at Maduruoya army training school)
2nd leg -platoon support weapon leg (at infantry training school Minneriya)
3 rd leg -commando leg (commando training school Kudaoya)
after one year course u will commission as second lieutenant,

u have to sing bond u have to work minimum five years ... and u can then request to leave the army.if u want to go abroad during the service i think u can request for two years leave and when u come to Sri Lanka u have to work that two years for army.

IF U JOIN AS SOLDIER U HAVE TO UNDER GO SIX MONTH TRAINING NO BOND U CAN LEAVE IF U WISH,,,,any more u want to knowwwwwwww

In volunteer force you have to sign a bond minimum for 5 years if you are joining as a Cadet
