i as a buddhist should say dat v shud respect every other buddhist.....(hence especially monks)

but beyond everything, country comes 1st. just not visiting him isn't a disrespect for da dalai lama. da best option wud be for us to remain neutral. (just keep da distance with dalai lama) thereby v r not insulting a much acclaimed monk, also not hurting a very important strategic ally of da nation...........

its was one of the few countries who stood by us during the war...and helped us bear foreign pressure.....
