Sri Lanka's dominant wireless operator Dialog Telekom
intends to change its name to Dialog Axiata, following the
renaming of its Malsyaian parent firm, a stock exchange filing said.
The proposed name "will accurately reflect its corporate identity
"Dialog said in a statement. The proposed name is a combination of the brand 'Dialog'
and the name of the parent firm, Axiata Group Berhad in Malaysia.
The parent firm was earlier called TM International and renamed as Axiata Group in May 2009.
