Sri Lanka needs Farmers Market to reduce prices in Agricuture!

Instead of Middle Men selling at higher price. Farmers should be allowed to bring in their vegetable and agriculture products sell directly to customers. We need Farmers Market. Let Farmers mill their rice and be sold directly to consumers. Farmers will get better prices and Consumers will get better fresh and cheaper products.

SL has higher production cost per unit in this instance we can say a kg .cause farmers are producing mid range or small quantities compared to other countries.

Then higher transportation cost .

Wastage of production due to unprofessional handling , transportation methods, and no storage options

Removing the middle man is easy. u need swiss embassy help in that regard but all other things should be dealt with
