Sri Lanka should stop Importing Milk in Milk Powder Form. Instead It should produce Milk Powder locally be it any brand. Instead it should focus of Importing Fresh Milk in chilled containers.So when demand of local Milk producers cannot be met then, there should be a quota system where we should import chilled milk from abroad. Be it from New Zealand or India. This will increase job opportunities to local Sri Lankans.Increasing price of Milk is a stupid move. We should try to reduce taxes on essential items.
