Sri Lanka should open all Domestic Airports to International flights

There are so many Domestic airports in the country that only needs immigration and security. The airforce,army and police can provide security but it only needs immigration,customs , conveyerbelt for international flights.One does not need a big terminal building to start with. The government should allow it to grow naturally. Surely Gale, Trincomale , Batticloa, and Jaffna, Vauniya can handle international flights. Instead of forcessing on bigger expansion. The airports should focus on gradual expansion. We do not need Sri Lankan airlines to get flights from those airports. There are other foreignen airlines that will fly to those airports. The government should treat airlines and airports separately. This will boost growth in country.

There is no need of any more international airports to Sri Lanka. Let's assume there is a intl airport in Jaffna. Whose gonna come? Probably Air India or some Tamilnadu carrier. Besides that flights from Tamil majority areas in Western countries. If some one want manipulation they can easily do it from that Intl airport without much fuss. Any bugger could enter Sri Lanka and anything legal/illegal could be smuggled in.

And don't let me start on Muslims having access to their own airport.

An international airport means customs, immigration, security, and a shitload of underlining services. That's the least problem we have in regards to aviation. We have only one terminal for international flights and that's enough for the current load. More passengers, one more terminal.

One does not need a big runway to land A320 and other small aircraft.Runways can be expanded depends on demand. Every provice of this country has multiple airports ideling due to racisim is bad for this country. We need that money.
