Broad to Mendis, no run, dropped, by Compton at midwicket. England have fancied getting him there. The ball was full, shaping into Mendis, he flicked it in the air and despite jumping with both feet off the ground Compton palms it over the bar. Would have been a good catch

    Broad to Silva, OUT
    JK Silva c †Bairstow b Broad 13 (22b 2x4 0x6) SR: 59.09

England reckon this is caught behind! The batsman stands while they check if it carried to Bairstow. An outside edge as he pressed forward. Was certainly a low take, but looked clean on first glance. England are convinved. Well, it's fairly tight. Has it bounced in the finger tips of the gloves? Could be tricky. Third umpire needs conclusive evidence it hasn't carried. Rod Tucker wants it zooming in. Very close call.

Anderson to Chandimal, OUT, taken at first slip! No frustration for Anderson this time. More classy bowling from Anderson, probing away outside off, Chandimal playing with fairly hard hands again and it carries at knee height to Cook.
    LD Chandimal c Cook b Anderson 4 (11b 1x4 0x6) SR: 36.36
